Founded in 2017 by Principal Designer Rachelle Gervais, RG Design Studio is a boutique interior design practice serving the mid-Island region. With over two decades of experience, Rachelle combines technical expertise & a deep appreciation for art with thoughtful aesthetics to create interiors that are timeless, functional & refined. Leading a small, dedicated team, she accepts only a select number of projects each year, ensuring uncompromising attention, personalized service & interiors of exceptional quality that balance style, individuality & purpose
Based in Nanoose Bay on central Vancouver Island, the studio draws inspiration from the surrounding ocean + forest. This sense of place informs a design approach that values timelessness, craftsmanship and detail, tailored to the people who experience our spaces
Our process begins with listening. Some clients come to us with a clear vision, and we help bring it to life. Others seek guidance, and we lead them through the design journey, helping them uncover & refine their own aesthetic along the way. Collaboration is at the core of our practice, and we believe the best results come from open communication, shared creativity, & thoughtful attention to detail
We work closely with architects, builders, and craftspeople to carry design intent seamlessly from concept to completion. Whether a private commission, a multifamily development, or a commercial space, our goal is always the same: to create interiors that are authentic, enduring, and distinctly personal
